Foods that Burn Stomach Fat - 3 Vegetables that Fight Abdominal Fat

I bet you didn't know that there's a certain class of vegetables that contain pretty specific phytonutrients that in fact help to fight against persistent tummy fat.

Let me make clear what these kinds of special vegetables are and why they help to burn stomach fat...

Chemical compounds that force your system to hold onto stomach fat:

One thing you may have never heard about is that several chemicals in our food supply and our environment, such as pesticides, herbicides, and certain petrochemicals from air and water pollution, household cleaners, cosmetics, etc can react with the human body and make your body store unwanted stomach fat.

The name for these chemicals is xenoestrogens.

Xenoestrogens are chemicals that you are exposed to (and are difficult to keep away from in the modern day world) that have an estrogenic effect in your system. Unwanted exposure to these types of estrogens can cause hormone balance disruptions for both men and women. So these can wreak havoc in the body for both guys and gals.

These estrogenic chemicals that we are exposed to on a daily basis can easily activate your body to store belly fat, along with many other complications (including cancer risks in the future).

So here's where this specific class of greens comes in handy...

One of those neat tricks that I show my clients that employ me for nutritional guidance is the use of cruciferous vegetables to help fight against stomach fat.

Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, cabbage, etc. include very distinct and unique phytonutrients such as indole-3-carbinol (I3C) that help to neutralize these estrogenic toxins...

And by fighting against these kinds of stomach fat stimulating estrogenic chemicals, this is another step in aiding you to win the struggle against belly fat!

So there you go...just another reason to do what mom always told you and eat more vegetables!

I've really learned to like brussels sprouts in the last year too...Melt a bit of grass-fed cheese on them and some garlic and they're great!
